Andersen is pleased to welcome Ash Alankar as a managing director in the US National Tax practice. Ash brings extensive experience in the investment industry, with a background spanning quantitative finance, investment strategy, and portfolio management. Throughout his career, he advised organizations on complex investment approaches and helped develop frameworks for navigating risk and portfolio decision-making. As part of the US National Tax practice, Ash will work closely with Andersen’s Investment Consulting Services practice and the Andersen Institute for Finance and Economics.
Ash held senior leadership roles at several leading investment firms, where he focused on asset allocation, quantitative investing, and institutional investment strategies. Prior to joining Andersen, he served as head of global asset allocation at Janus Henderson Investors, leading global investment strategy initiatives. He also served as co-chief investment officer of quantitative investment strategies at AllianceBernstein, overseeing the development and management of quantitative investment solutions for institutional and global investors. Ash has published research and insights on topics such as investment strategy and risk management, optimal portfolio theory, ESG, and institutional investment practices.
